WHO WE ARE
Asalamu Alaikum,
Men of the Ummah is a Chicago-based organization dedicated to nurturing Muslim youth. Our mission is to seek the pleasure of Allah ﷻ through youth-oriented events centered on three pillars:
- Cultivating brotherhood
- Fostering leadership
- Engaging with the community
We arose in the summer of 2020 in the midst of the pandemic that left much of the community disconnected. The initial group of brothers held events virtually and gradually transitioned to in-person events to revive the essence of brotherhood. We now have a strong team that consistently organizes initiatives for the youth. We seek to raise a generation of men dedicated to upholding the Quran and Sunnah by following the examples set by Rasoolullah ﷺ, the prophets (AS), and the Sahabah (RA).
